Real life...

Lord Maredudd ap Gwylim is a 'Marcher Lord' from the Welsh side of the border with England in the fourteenth century (theoretically). As his tailor seems to have some difficulty with this concept he may be found dressed in clothes of any period from the Eleventh to the Sixteenth century. He fights in armour or with the rapier as required by circumstance and century and regards himself as a Renaissance Man who will try any of the gentle arts (except dance). Maredudd is Apprenticed to Baron Sigmundr Haakonarson OL from whom he seeks to learn the bearing and attitudes befitting a Peer of the Realm.

Ed is a sandwich delivery driver who wishes that ther were 25 hours in the day and 8 days in the week because he has only to hear of a new craft or project and suddenly he has another hobby... At present an abridged list of interest includes calligraphy, cooking, singing, archery, illumination, embroidery, costuming, heraldry (both book and voice), armouring and the latest: Japanese armour and combat.
