Real life...
Arriving at the SCA by way of an old friendship with the Lady Gytha of Brighthelm, I appear to have inherited the seneschals responsibility for a tribe of fierce welshfolk. Being of a more easterly extraction I felt some trepidation at this, but seem to have the situation loosely under control...
My own interests lie even further East, amongst the folk of Cathay and the Japans, in their fighting arts and skills with poem and paper, silk cloth and winds. In our Current Middle ages I have felt most comfortable as a Celt, but that may be changing, watch this wardrobe closely, as Elizabethan style has recently made an impact. Our friendly webmistress will soon be my fencing teacher - may the good Lord send her patience!

Mundanely...
I have been a martial artist for approximately 20 years in SHotokan Karate and taijutsu recently, with occasional forays into taichi and aikido. I am a voracious reader of science fiction, fantasy and historical fiction, and have been a gamesmaster and player of rpg's for a long, long time. I have at various times been a good cook, a fine brewer, a gardener with a particular interest in dwarf conifers and herbs, a keen cyclist and the lighting technician for a lot of Star Trek and SF
conventions. Life is dull, isn't it!
