Real life...
Duarte Gonçalves is the well educated son of a
Portugese Noble. A surgeon by trade at the age of 21 he
left the shores of Portugal in search of adventure. He
spent five years travelling by ship around the
Mediterranean sea, and up along the West coast of
Europe. He eventually settled in England in 1565.
Duarte spent three years working in London before moving
to Wales. Whilst in London he also studied under some
of the masters of Defense improving his skills with the
rapier. He can currently be found in Cardiff and is now
a vassal under Baron Etienne Fevre. His interests are
fencing, dancing, calligraphy, costuming, archery, and
eating.
Johnathan George is a nursing support worker currently living in Cardiff. He spent three years in London, followed by two and a half years in Swansea and has just moved to Cardiff. He has been playing within the S.C.A since 1996. His many interests range from eating, fighting, writing, shooting, reading, gaming, oh and eating.
