Once a month rapier and armoured combat practice will be held in the Swansea group. Whilst weather permits, it will be held in Oystermouth Park in the Mumbles. In the winter when the weather changes it shall be held in an indoor hall. As the practice is in a public area the practice is sugested garbed. It will start at midday and finish when eveyone is tired. Afterwards there shall be much socialising at the house of Duarte Goncalves.

Directions to Oystermouth Castle:

By Road: From the M4 come off at junction 42 and follow the A483 into
Swansea with the bay on your left. Drive over the bridge and bear left on
to the A4067 with Sainsburys on your left. Follow this road keeping the
bay on your left in to the Mumbles. When you enter Oystermouth there will
be a mini roundabout turn right onto Newton Road (B4593) take your next
right onto Castle Road and park. You should see the Ostreme community
centre on your left and the Castle just ontop the hill in front of you.

By Bus:Get the train or bus into swansea. Make your way to the bus station and
get and bus 2/2A/3/3A and get off at oystermouth. Cross the road and go straight up the hill, take your first right, with the ostreme center on your left. The castle is in front of you

By Bus: Get the train or bus into swansea. Give us a ring in advance and one of us
will try and meet you. If we can't, make your way to the bus station and
get and bus 20/20A/21/21A and get off at sketty cross. Cross the road to
the side with spar, and walk up the hill, past the Vets and the Garage.
Cross the road at the pelican crossing and keep goin up the hill till you
get to 219.

By car: Drive to swansea, come off the M4 at Junction 42. Follow the A483 into
Swansea, Cross over the bridge keep left with Safeway on your left. Follow
the A4067 keeping Swansea Bay on your left. After you pass the university
turn right up Sketty Lane (A4216). At the roundabout turn right into Sketty
Park Road. Follow this road to the end and turn left into Gower Road. Our
house is no. 219.
